This remarkable, high-grade Brooklyn Dodgers team-signed ball dates from the club's historic 1955 World Championship season and represents one of the finest examples we have handled with regard to condition. The official National League (Giles) ball has been signed in blue ink by the following twenty-two members of the 1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers: Alston (Mgr., sweet spot), Robinson, Snider (clubhouse signature), Reese, Koufax, Hoak, Amoros, Meyer (clubhouse signature), Gilliam (clubhouse signature), Bessent, Newcombe, Podres, Howell, Spooner, Craig, Shuba, Erskine, Furillo, Labine, Kellert, Zimmer, and Walker. The vintage red-ink notation "1955 Brooklyn Dodgers," is printed just beneath Giles' facsimile signature on the ball label. Signatures range from "6" to "9," averaging "7/8." The ball remains in pristine Mint condition. This is an extraordinary condition rarity of one of the most desirable team-signed balls in the hobby. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $500.
