One of the most popular sets of the decade, the 1965 Topps set includes rookie cards of Hall of Famers Joe Morgan, Steve Carlton, Catfish Hunter, and Tony Perez. We have selected four cards to be graded by SGC. Keys: #16 Morgan RC (Ex+), 120 F. Robinson (Ex), 130 Kaline (Nr/Mt), 134 Mantle WS (Nr/Mt-Mt), 150 B. Also included is one variation (#79). This is an outstanding high-grade complete set of this popular 1960s issue with several notable highlights. Consigned from an old-time collection, this set has been in storage for decades. All cards are bright and fresh, appearing to have been pulled straight out of packs, with centering the only technical fault on almost all of the Ex and Ex-Mt cards. The equivalent SMR value for just the four graded cards (factoring in the two half grades at the lower whole-grade level and not including the 595 ungraded cards) is $1,010. Total: 599 cards (complete set of 598 plus one variation). Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+. SOLD FOR $16,590
