1909 T204 Ramly Tobacco Jimmy Collins PSA NM 7 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $2,000, Sold For - $3,851

Graded NM 7 by PSA. One of three graded at this level with none higher. This outstanding high-grade example of Hall of Famer Jimmy Collins from the prized T204 Ramly series features a classic portrait image. The Ramly series is universally recognized as one of the most desirable of all the tobacco-card issues. These cards have always been appreciated by collectors both for their rarity and distinctive style. Collins is one of only fifteen Hall of Famers in the entire Ramly set. Ramlys are among the most condition-sensitive sets in existence with fragile gold borders easily susceptible to chipping. The offered example shows no evidence of chipping along the borders and light touches of wear to the corners. Centered very slightly to the lower right with a clean, crisp image, and a boldly printed reverse. This is an extremely attractive, high-grade example of one of the key Hall of Famers from this beautiful and extremely condition-sensitive set. The SMR value for the assigned grade is $7,750. Reserve $2,000. Estimate $4,000+. SOLD FOR $3,851
