1954 Wilson Franks Andy Pafko PSA NM-MT 8
Starting Bid - $400, Sold For - $2,370
Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. One of only seven examples at this level with just a single MINT 9 graded higher. Exceptional ultra high-grade example of Milwaukee Braves outfielder Andy Pafko from the 1954 Wilson Franks series. The card displays four razor-sharp corners, flawless colors, a perfectly clean front, and a perfectly clean, bright reverse with crisp, bold text. Centered slightly to the top. Wilson "Weiners" are rarely found in such extraordinary condition. In the PSA Population Report, of the 1,469 Wilsons graded to date, only seventy-eight are graded NM-MT and only fourteen higher (four NM-MT+ 8.5 and ten MINT 9). This is a spectacular high-grade example worthy of the finest sample-card collection or Wilson Franks set. The SMR value for the assigned grade is $1,375. Reserve $400. Estimate $800/$1,200. SOLD FOR $2,370
