1952 Topps #333 Pee Wee Reese PSA NM-MT+ 8.5

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $4,740

Graded NM-MT+ 8.5 by PSA. Ultra high-grade example of #333 Pee Wee Reese from the 1952 Topps set. One of only two examples graded at this level with six higher out of 444 cards evaluated by PSA. Reese is an extremely desirable card from this set, both for his status as a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers and for his positioning among the elusive high-number series cards, which are generally tougher to find in high grade as well. This example is bright and crisp, displaying the characteristics of a pack-fresh card. Bold colors, perfect centering, and four sharp corners. Clean, well-centered reverse. The tiniest touch of wear at the extreme tip of the upper right corner is all that holds this back from grading MINT. This is a stunning high-grade example of this Brooklyn Dodgers high number that would make an outstanding addition to any world-class 1952 Topps set, Hall of Famer, or Brooklyn Dodgers collection. SMR is $4,950. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,500++. SOLD FOR $4,740
