1955 Topps #123 Sandy Koufax Rookie PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,963

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Magnificent high-grade example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card. The 1955 Topps Koufax rookie (#123) is the most valuable card in that year's set after Roberto Clemente's rookie card in the high-number series. Bright, crisp, and clean, with four sharp corners, near-perfect centering, and flawless registration. The few very light printing specs in the white background, which are so common to this card, are mentioned strictly for the sake of accuracy. Centered just a hint to the top border. This is a very attractive high-grade example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card, one of the most popular and classic of all 1950s bubble-gum cards. SMR value is $2,850. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+. SOLD FOR $2,963
