1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle PSA VG-EX 4

Starting Bid - $2,500, Sold For - $13,035

Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Very strong Vg-Ex example of 1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle. One of card collecting's greatest classics, Mantle's Topps rookie card is the key to the 1952 Topps set, one of the most famous of all cards, and the single most popular and valuable postwar baseball card. This is a magnificent example with brilliant colors. The blue background has just the lightest hint of surface wear to the right of Mantle's cap. No creases. This example displays virtually perfect centering, which is a quality that is particularly rare to find in a 1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle. This card falls short of Ex due to the light, even corner wear. This is an exceptionally attractive example of Mickey Mantle's most celebrated card in an extremely desirable grade. Reserve $2,500. Estimate $5,000/$10,000+. SOLD FOR $13,035
