Graded NM 7 by PSA. Exceptionally attractive ultra high-grade example of legendary Hall of Famer John Clarkson from the N28 Allen & Ginter set. Perfectly bright and clean, both front and back, with four square corners (a little more wear to the bottom right), perfect registry, and flawless colors. The card features Clarkson in a Boston uniform and was therefore actually issued after he finished the 1887 season with Chicago and signed with Boston for the upcoming season. One of the most classic Hall of Fame cards of the era. This is a stunning high-grade example of one of baseball's greatest pitching legends from one of the most popular of all nineteenth-century sets. SMR value is $2,700. Reserve $500.
