1933 R333 DeLong #4 Bill Terry PSA NM-MT 8 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $1,896

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Highest-graded example of New York Giants Hall of Famer Bill Terry from one of the rarest and most popular gum-card issues of the 1930s. The 24-card DeLong set has always been highly regarded by collectors. DeLongs are rarely found in such high grade; only 171 of the 2,462 DeLongs of all players graded to date in the history of PSA have graded NM-MT 8, and only six have ever graded higher (four NM-MT+ 8.5 and two MINT 9; none has ever graded PSA 10). The offered example is well centered (slightly to the right), with four sharp corners, flawless registration, and extremely vibrant colors. Clean, boldly printed reverse. SMR is $2,200. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000. SOLD FOR $1,896
