1941 R324 Goudey #19 Bill Posedel PSA NM-MT 8 - 1 of 1 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $533

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher! Exceptionally attractive and high-grade sample from Goudey's final baseball-card issue in which each card features a black-and-white image of a player set against a blue, green, red, or yellow background with the player's name, team, and position printed in a box below the player's image. Goudeys from this year are noted for poor quality control during the cutting process, which makes high-grade examples extremely rare (only twenty-five cards of any subject have graded NM-MT or higher by PSA out of 1,330 examples graded to date). The offered example is clean and crisp with flawless registration and four sharp corners. A slight natural rough cut is present along the left edge. Clean reverse with two tiny age spots (mentioned strictly for the sake of accuracy). This is an outstanding ultra high-grade example from this rare and historically significant final Goudey issue. Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $533
