Graded EX+ 70 by SGC. Outstanding example of this classic and rare Rogers Hornsby card from the R328 U.S. Caramel set featuring the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer in a portrait pose. This card is particularly attractive, with four strong corners showing just light even wear, vibrant colors, flawless registration, and outstanding centering. Crisp and clean, both front and back, with bold black text on reverse. This is a very attractive example of one of Hornsby’s most impressive cards from this extremely popular 1930s caramel issue.
