1916 D381 Fleischmann Bakery SGC-Graded Pair: McKechnie and O'Mara

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $1,185

Presented is a pair of SGC-graded cards from the 1916 D381 Fleischmann Bakery issue: Oliver O'Mara (VG 40, Brooklyn Superbas) and Hall of Famer Bill McKechnie (VG/EX 50, New York Giants). Because these large cards (2-3/8 x 4-7/8 inches) are printed on thin stock, they are very susceptible to minor faults, especially creases. Each of these cards is bright and clean, both front and back, with no major creases (each has a few small creases visible under close inspection), flawless picture quality, and light wear to the corners. The O'Mara example has the coupon attached (extremely rare in this ideal form), while the McKechnie coupon has been neatly cut away, as intended, to be redeemed for a prize (an album to store the cards). This is an extremely attractive pair of cards from one of the rarest and most condition-sensitive prewar bakery-card issues. Total: 2 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $1,185
