1916 M101-4 Everybody's Clothing Store #32 Eddie Cicotte

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $948

Graded VG 40 by SGC. Presented is a very attractive example of #32 Eddie Cicotte from the 1916 M101-4 set featuring an Everybody's Clothing Store advertising reverse. The Everybody's reverse is among the scarcest of the various advertisers found on M101-4 cards. Eddie Cicotte, while not a Hall of Famer, is extremely desirable as one of the key members of the 1919 "Black Sox." The offered example is crisp and clean with perfect centering and a flawless surface. Light corner wear, which is more advanced to the bottom two, is responsible for the modest assigned grade. The important advertising reverse is boldly printed and entirely clean. This is an outstanding example of this rare advertising reverse, featuring a desirable "Black Sox" subject, which would an ideal addition to any M101-4, "Black Sox," or type-card collection. Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $948
