1911 T212 Obak Miller PSA NM-MT 8 - 1 of 1 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $1,185

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Only example at this level with none higher and one of only eleven 1911 T212 Obak Tobacco cards (of any player) to ever grade NM-MT 8 (out of 1,025 evaluated to date). Ultra high-grade example of Miller from the final year of the T212 Obak series. Obaks are among the most popular of all early card issues featuring players from the Pacific Coast League. While catalogued simply as T212, Obaks were actually issued over a period of three years, from 1909 to 1911, and are really three sets. Cards from the 1911 set are easily distinguished by the red printing on their backs. The offered example is stunning in every respect. Bright, bold colors, crisp image, and flawless registration. Near-perfect centering and sharp corners. Clean, boldly printed reverse. This is an exceptional sample card in a well-deserved incredibly high grade, literally one of the finest examples of a T212 Obak in existence. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $1,185
