1909-1911 T206 White Border PSA NM 7 and NM+ 7.5 Collection (3)

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $4,148

Three T206 White Border tobacco cards in extremely high grade, each graded and encapsulated by PSA: Bob Bescher/hands in air (NM 7, Harris Collection, excellent color, centered to the bottom, light wear to corners and extreme right edge, perhaps more accurately graded EX-MT), Fred Merkle/portrait (NM+ 7.5, superb color and clarity, sharp corners, centered to the top), and Owen Wilson (NM 7, near-perfect centering, vibrant colors, strong corners). All three cards have a Piedmont advertising reverse. This is a beautiful trio of high-grade cards from the most popular tobacco-card issue of the 1910 era. The total SMR value (factoring in the Merkle at the lower whole-grade level) is $1,605. Total: 3 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $4,148
