1909-1911 T206 Jim Pastorius PSA MINT 9

Starting Bid - $800, Sold For - $7,110

Graded MINT 9 by PSA. One of just four examples graded at this level, with none graded higher. This pack-fresh beauty of Jim Pastorius is an incredible gem, with four razor-sharp corners, snow-white borders, virtually perfect centering, and a boldly printed Piedmont 150 reverse. The image is bright and crisp, with flawless registry. All T206s are extremely rare to find in Mint condition. Out of over 160,000 T206s graded to date by PSA, only 267 have been graded PSA MINT 9 and only thirteen have been graded PSA GEM MINT 10. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $2,625. Reserve $800. Estimate $1,500/$2,500++. SOLD FOR $7,110
