1909-1911 T206 Mickey Doolan Batting PSA NM-MT 8 (Harris Collection) - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $400, Sold For - $1,659

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Batting pose. One of just six examples graded at this level with none graded higher. This high-grade T206 example of Mickey Doolan of the Philadelphia Phillies displays extremely bold colors and is centered very slightly to the right. The card is flawlessly clean front and back, with four sharp, square corners. The Piedmont advertisement on the reverse is boldly printed in blue. In our opinion, this card has a very slight trim across the top border, though someone else could have a different opinion. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. This is a very rarely offered high-grade example from the famous Harris Collection. SMR is $1,225. Reserve $400. Estimate $800+. SOLD FOR $1,659
