1909-1911 T206 Ty Cobb Bat Off Shoulder PSA EX 5

Starting Bid - $800, Sold For - $2,963

Graded EX 5 by PSA. Extremely attractive high-grade example of one of Ty Cobb's most classic cards. The T206 Ty Cobb bat-off-shoulder pose is one of the key cards in the set. This card is one of the highlights of a newly discovered collection of T206s consigned by the great-grandson of the original owner! Outstanding centering (slightly to the left), vibrant colors, and perfect registration. This is a sharp-looking card, extremely clean both front and back, with four square corners displaying just a hint of wear. The Piedmont advertising on reverse is centered slightly to the left. A very attractive high-grade example of this desirable Ty Cobb tobacco card that has literally not seen the light of day since 1910! The SMR value is $2,650. Reserve $800. Estimate $1,500/$2,500. SOLD FOR $2,963
