1909-1911 T206 White Border PSA-Graded Hall of Fame Collection (13) - All Sovereign Backs!

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,133

Presented is a collection of eleven different cards (plus two duplicates) from the classic T206 White Border series, comprised exclusively of Hall of Famers, and each featuring a desirable Sovereign advertising reverse. Entirely graded and encapsulated by PSA. Sovereign is a scarce back, certainly not in the same league as Drum or Uzit, but very unusual and seen far less often than the standard Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertising backs. This collection consists of the following: Baker (PR 1 MK, 350 series), Beckley (VG-EX 4, 350 series), Bresnahan/portrait (VG+ 3.5, 150 series), Chance/yellow portrait (VG-EX 4, 350 series), Keeler/portrait (VG 3, 150 series), two Lajoie/portrait (GOOD 2, 350 series and PR 1, 150 series), McGraw/no cap (VG 3, 350 series), McGraw/with cap (PR 1, 460 series), two McGraw/finger in air (VG 3, 150 series and GOOD 2, 150 series), Waddell/throwing (GOOD 2, 150 series), and Willis/with bat (GOOD 2, 350 series). This is a very attractive collection of cards, comprised exclusively of Hall of Famers with the desirable Sovereign advertising back from the legendary T206 set. The total SMR value in the assigned grades (factoring in the one half grade at the lower whole-grade level and excluding the one qualified card) is $1,575. Total: 13 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000++. SOLD FOR $2,133
