1909-1911 T206 Red Ames Hands Above Head - Blank Back!

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $2,370

Offered is an unusual blank-backed example of Red Ames (hands above head) from the legendary T206 series. Blank backs are very scarce and according to, currently rank as the tenth most difficult back variety (out of thirty-nine). This is an exceptional example with bold colors, flawless registration, outstanding centering, and light wear to the corners. Entirely clean reverse. Overall VG-EX but encapsulated as "Authentic" by SGC because all blank backs are hand-cut. This is an unusual (and in our experience extremely rare) printing anomaly that is likely to be of great interest to collectors of all the various nuances of the legendary T206 set. Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $2,370
