1909-1911 T206 White Border SGC-Graded Collection (150)
Starting Bid - $2,500, Sold For - $7,110
Presented are 115 different cards (plus thirty-five duplicates for a total of 150 cards) from the classic T206 White Border series, representing 22% of a complete set. There is little need for a formal introduction to the T206 White Borders set, the single most important and highly collected issue among all tobacco and all vintage cards. This is an extremely attractive and clean collection of 150 total cards. The entire collection has tremendous eye-appeal across the board and even the lesser-graded cards are very pleasing and exhibit bright colors and crisp focus. The cards all present with brilliant colors and a crisp overall appearance. Few cards have creases or wrinkles, and honest normal corner and edge wear is almost solely responsible for any technical downgrades. Most of the cards have Piedmont or Sweet Caporal backs, but also included are American Beauty, Cycle, Old Mill, and Polar Bear as noted below. Each card is professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC (all submitted by REA).
