Collection of thirty-one different (plus one duplicate) T206 White Border tobacco cards, each encapsulated and graded EX/NM+ 82 (six) or EX/NM 80 (twenty-six) by SGC (all submitted by REA). The collection is highlighted by Hall of Famers Sam Crawford/with bat and Rube Marquard/follow-through pose. All have Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertisements on back unless otherwise noted. The collection consists of the following: EX/NM+ 82 (6 cards): Bowerman, Engle, Hayden, Stovall/batting, Strang, and Wilhelm/with bat. EX/NM 80 (26 cards): Blackburne, Bransfield, Camnitz/hands above head, Charles, Conroy/with bat, Crawford/with bat (HOF), Donlin/with bat, Downey/batting, Durham, Hannifan (Sovereign 350), Hartsel, Lennox, Hemphill, Kleinow/N.Y. with bat, Knight/with bat, Maddox, Marquard/follow-through (HOF), Mattern, two McGlynn, Schulte/back view, Seymour/portrait, Shipke, Steinfeldt/with bat, Sullivan (Sovereign 350), and Warhop (Polar Bear). Each card displays bold colors, excellent centering, and strong corners. This is an exceptionally strong group hand-picked by REA (from a collection of over 1,000 T206s!) that could serve as a foundation for a very high-quality T206 collection, or make a significant addition to the building of an exceptional high-quality set.
