1909-1911 T206 Addie Joss Portrait PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $1,500, Sold For - $5,333

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Of the 517 examples graded by PSA, only three have been graded higher. Striking high-grade PSA example of Addie Joss from the prized T206 White Borders series featuring a classic portrait image set against a brilliant yellow background. The portrait pose has long been considered the rarest, and by far the most desirable, of the two poses of Joss in the T206 set. Four razor-sharp corners, crisp image with bold colors, and flawless registration. Centered perfectly side-to-side and approximately 30/70 top-to-bottom. Clean Piedmont reverse (centered to the top). In our opinion, this card has a very slight trim along the top border, though someone else may have a different opinion. This is a very highly graded T206 example of one of Addie Joss' most stunning cards. The SMR value for the assigned grade is $5,350. Reserve $1,500. Estimate $2,500+. SOLD FOR $5,333
