1911 T205 Gold Border SGC-Graded Collection (25) Including Nine Hall of Famers

Collection of twenty-five different cards from the classic T205 Gold Border set highlighted by nine Hall of Famers, including Frank Chance, Miller Huggins, and Tris Speaker. Each card is professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC (nineteen) or PSA (six) and all have been submitted by REA (except for Wolter). All have Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertising reverses unless otherwise noted. SGC Condition Report: Three EX-MT 6: Hoblitzell (Cin. After 1908 Stats, Cycle), Wallace (HOF, With Cap, Hassan), and Wolter (Hassan). All PSA. One EX 60: Bescher. One VG/EX+ 55: Miller. Three VG/EX 50: Bell, Parent (Hassan), and Tannehill. Five VG+ 45: Bender (HOF, Polar Bear), Doyle, Fromme, Phelps, and Tinker (HOF). Three VG 40: Camnitz (Polar Bear), McAllister (Minor League, Hassan), and Wilson. One GOOD+ 35: Corridon. Eight Authentic: Brown (HOF), Chance (HOF), Huggins (HOF, Sovereign, PSA), Konetchy, McGraw (HOF, PSA), Sheckard, Speaker (HOF, PSA), and Stovall (Honest Long Cut). This is an exceptionally attractive collection of cards, most of which were purchased by our consignor in the days prior to professional grading; each card was carefully chosen for superior visual appeal, and most present at a level superior to their assigned grades.
