1913 T200 Fatima Team Chicago Americans PSA NM 7 - 1 of 1 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $3,851

Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level by PSA with none higher. Ultra high-grade Chicago Americans example from the distinctive T200 Fatima team-card set. A grade of Near Mint is especially impressive for a T200 as the thin stock and fragile real-photo surface of T200 Fatimas make them very susceptible to light creasing. Many collectors consider T200 (and the similarly designed T222 individual-player cards) the single most condition-sensitive set in all of vintage-card collecting. Only nine cards (including this one) have ever been graded Near Mint or better by PSA from the 1,247 examples submitted to date. The offered example is crisp and clean with outstanding centering (very slightly to the bottom left), sharp corners with only the tiniest hints of wear, and a clean, boldly printed reverse. This is a tremendous card in miraculous condition which would upgrade any T200 set or serve as an ideal sample-card from this rare and unusual tobacco-card set. SMR for the assigned grade is $2,500. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,500+. SOLD FOR $3,851
