1913 T200 Fatima Team Card Cleveland Americans (with Joe Jackson) PSA NM-MT 8 - 1 of 1 - Highest Graded and The Only NM-MT 8 T200 in Existence!

Starting Bid - $2,500, Sold For - $11,850

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher, and it is also the ONLY example (of any team) ever to grade NM-MT 8 by PSA (out of 1,252 cards evaluated to date). Incredible ultra high-grade example of the Cleveland Americans team, one of the key cards from the popular T200 Fatima set because of the inclusion on this team of future "Black Sox" star Joe Jackson. Issued one card per pack with Fatima cigarettes, the card features a real photograph of the Cleveland Americans. In addition to Joe Jackson, the team is also highlighted by Hall of Famer Napoleon Lajoie. The offered example is a true gem! It is virtually perfect in every way, with a flawless surface, a crisp image, outstanding centering (slightly to the bottom), and four sharp corners (with only a tiny touch of wear in the upper left). The Fatima advertising reverse is perfectly centered, boldly printed, and entirely clean. This is a miraculous surviving example as T200s are notorious for cracked surfaces due to their brittle crease-prone glossy surface. The T200 Fatima team card of the Cleveland Americans has always been especially desirable to collectors as it allows collectors to acquire a card of Joe Jackson from his playing days without spending the great fortune that some single-player cards of his command. This extremely attractive ultra high-grade example of this key tobacco card featuring the legendary Joe Jackson during his playing days would be a significant addition to any world-class T200, Joe Jackson, or prewar-card collection. The SMR value in the assigned grade is $13,000. Reserve $2,500. Estimate $5,000/$10,000. SOLD FOR $11,850
