Presented is an outstanding collection of six different 1910-era postcards, highlighted by a particularly scarce example of a 1910 Brush Automobile advertising postcard featuring Hall of Famer Hughie Jennings. 1) 1907 PC778 Morgan Stationery “Red Belts” Postcard: "It’s All In The Game." SGC EX 60. Highest graded. 2) 1907-1909 PC805 Novelty Cutlery Postcard: Art Devlin (New York Giants). SGC EX 60, 1 of 1, highest graded. 3) 1908 Detroit Free Press Tigers Postcards: Matty McIntyre (Detroit Tigers). PSA NM-MT 8, 1 of 1, highest graded. 4) 1910 Brush Automobile Advertising Postcard: Hughie Jennings/hands in air (HOF, Detroit Tigers). SGC FAIR 20. Presents VG, postally used on reverse. 5) 1910 General Photo Postcards: Harry Howell (St. Louis Browns). SGC VG 40. One of only two examples (of any subject) ever graded by SGC. 6) c. 1911 PC758-2 U. S. Publishing Postcard: Rube Marquard (HOF, New York Giants). SGC Authentic. Presents VG, paper loss on reverse. Signed by Marquard in bold blue ballpoint. This is a very attractive collection of rare postcards, with several notable highlights, that would be a worthy addition to any advanced postcard or sample-card collection.
