1903 E107 Breisch-Williams Mike Kahoe PSA EX 5 - 1 of 1 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,133

Graded EX 5 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher! Striking E107 Breisch-Williams sample card of catcher Mike Kahoe from the St. Louis Browns of the American League. Kahoe was one of the first catchers to wear shin guards. He joined the Browns in their inaugural season (1902) and won the starting job from Joe Sugden (who is also included in the E107 set) the following year. A grade of Excellent is particularly extraordinary for an E107; only seven cards (of any subject) have ever graded higher by PSA. Clean, crisp image, four strong corners, and centered to the bottom. Perfect side-to-side centering with a clean, boldly printed reverse. Exceptional ultra high-grade sample from this extremely significant set. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $2,133
