1930s to 1950s Food-Issue Sample-Card Collection (3) Including Crowley's Milk and Sawyer Biscuit

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $356

Collection of three unusual and scarce type cards from three different food-related issues spanning the years 1938 to 1955. Each card is professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC. 1) 1938 Sawyer Biscut Stan Hack: SGC EX 60. Chicago Cubs. Outstanding example with great photo contrast. Light wear at the corners of the mount. 2) 1940 Crowley's Milk Pete Suder: SGC VG/EX 50. Sharp-looking example, presenting as Ex-Mt, with a small crease in the center of the blank reverse. 3) 1955 Cain's Potato Chips Jimmy Piersall: SGC VG/EX 50. Boston Red Sox. Crisp and clean example, with very light wear at the corners. This is an outstanding trio of cards that would be worthy additions to any advanced regional or sample-card collection. Total: 3 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $356
