1968 Philadelphia Dark Shadows PSA-Graded Collection All Highest-Graded (21 cards)

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $356

Collection of twenty-one different cards from the 1968 Philadelphia Dark Shadows Pink series, each professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA. These cards chronicle the hit television series Dark Shadows with black-and-white images of key characters in various scenes from the show framed by a pink border. The twenty-one cards in this collection represent nearly one-third of a complete set with an overall GPA of 7.76 (this collection of twenty-one cards currently ranks second on the PSA Set Registry as complete sets from this issue are particularly scarce). Each card is the highest-graded example. PSA Grading Composite: NM-MT 8 (16 cards): #5 (1 of 1), 16, 20, 24, 26, 28, 29, 33, 42, 43, 46 (1 of 1), 47, 57, 59, 60, and 61 (1 of 1). NM 7 (5 cards): #4, 6, 22, 39, and 58. This is an extremely attractive collection of cards that would serve as a tremendous foundation for the assembly of an extraordinary high-grade complete set of this popular 1960s nonsport issue. There is no SMR value listing yet published for this issue to which we can refer, but we are confident as always that the auction process will provide clarity with reference to value. Total: 21 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $356
