1950 Ed-U-Cards "Lone Ranger" Complete Panel Set in Original Boxes (8 boxes, 120 cards)

Complete set of all 120 cards from the 1950 Ed-U-Cards "Lone Ranger" issue in ideal panel form accompanied by the eight original boxes, each corresponding to a different series. This set was produced in eight series, each of which contained five perforated panels of three cards for a total of fifteen cards per series. The cards depict various full-color scenes from The Lone Ranger television show, complete with a description of the pictured episode on the card reverse. Each complete panel measures approximately 2 by 7-13/16 inches, with the individual cards measuring 2 x 2-5/8 inches. Each series of five panels was issued housed in a colorful thin-paper box advertising the adventures of the Lone Ranger, Tonto, and Silver. This collection has survived in outstanding condition with all the cards presenting as Near Mint and displaying bright white borders, bold colors, and strong corners. The boxes are in overall Excellent condition with minor technical flaws common to packaging. The series two box is missing the front upper right corner. This is a superb complete set of this popular 1950s issue which is presented exactly as it was available to youngsters more than sixty years ago.
