Complete twenty-card set of E49 "Wild West Caramels" produced by the American Caramel Company and entirely graded and encapsulated by SGC. The E49 set is a popular 1910-era caramel-card issue which features a variety of Native Americans and military men, including many very well known figures, in colorful portrait illustrations. SGC Grading Composite: Two EX 60: Daniel Boone and Gen. Geo. Custer. Two VG/EX 50: Rocky Bear and Yellow Hair. One VG+ 45: California Joe. Six VG 40: Always Riding, Black Swan, Chief Lone Wolf, Kit Carson, Left Hand Bear, and Shot in the Eye. Four GOOD+ 35: Black Bear, Buffalo Bill, John M. Burke, and Pawnee Bill. One FAIR 20: Rushing Bear. Four POOR 10: David Crockett, Jim Bridger, Sitting Bull, and Texas Jack. Even the modestly graded examples from this set present with a far superior appearance.
