1941 The Three Stooges So Long Mr. Chumps Lobby Card

Lobby card from the Three Stooges 1941 short So Long Mr. Chumps. The plot featured the boys as street cleaners who find an envelope full of oil bonds, which they return to the rightful owner, B. O. Davis. In a series of convoluted events, they end up in prison while working on a mission for Davis, only to find out at the end that Davis is none other than "Lone Wolf" Louie, a noted bond swindler. The card (14 x 11 inches) has undergone professional restoration along the top and left borders, as well as portions of the main body, for cleaning and in repair of a number of tack/pin holes. Excellent to Mint in appearance. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,500+. SOLD FOR $1,422
