1940 The Three Stooges No Census No Feeling Title Lobby Card

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,963

Title lobby card from the Three Stooges 1940 short No Census No Feeling. This card is noteworthy for the fact that the studio art department mistakenly labeled Moe as "Larry" and Larry as "Moe" in the white name cards appearing on their respective images. In the film, which was the group's fiftieth for Columbia, the boys are census takers which, inexplicably, leads to their taking part in a football game. The card (14 x 11 inches) has undergone professional restoration along all four border areas, including cleaning and repair of both tears and pin/tack holes. Excellent to Mint in appearance. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,500+. SOLD FOR $2,963
