Starting Bid - $2,500, Sold For - $17,775
Original unopened wax box of 1971 Topps Football (2nd Series) containing twenty-four unopened wax packs. This is a rarely encountered complete unopened wax box from this popular issue! The 1971 Topps Football set includes many Hall of Famers such as Bradshaw (rookie card), Unitas, Namath, Butkus, Starr, Sayers, and all the other stars of the day. The display box has survived in stunning, near-perfect condition with bright colors and minimal shelf wear visible. The entire box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material).
