Unbelievably highly graded complete fifty-card set of 1938 F. C. Cartledge "Famous Prize Fighters" (Glossy) cards, each of which is graded and encapsulated by PSA. This set currently ranks second on the PSA Registry with an impressive overall GPA of 8.25. This is an extraordinary set which has been assembled by an extremely dedicated and condition-conscious collector over a period of many years, with the express purpose of assembling the highest-grade set possible to add to his extensive boxing-card collection. The PSA grades are as follows: MINT 9 (19 cards): #5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 14, 19, 21, 27, 29 Schmeling, 35, 39, 41, 42, 43, 44 (OC), 46 Baer, 47, and 48. NM-MT+ 8.5 (1 card): #37. NM-MT 8 (24 cards): #2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15 Sayers, 16, 17, 18 Sullivan, 20, 22 Corbett, 24 Fitzsimmons, 25, 26 Dempsey, 28, 30 Louis, 31, 32, 34, 36, 40, and 45. NM+ 7.5 (2 cards): #1 and 49.
