1977-1997 Hall of Fame and Superstar Signed Pro-Model Bat Collection with Carew (6)

Collection of six pro-model bats, all of which originate from the personal collection of former Baltimore Orioles pitcher Mike Flanagan. None of the bats display any use (save for a few stray rack marks), but five have been autographed by the respective player on the barrel. The highlight of the group is a 1977-1979 Rod Carew H&B signature-model (“C243”) bat dating from the three-year span in which he won two consecutive batting titles (1977 and 1978), including a career-high .388 average in 1977. Length: 34.5 inches. Weight: 32 ounces. The remaining bats are as follows: 1) 1977-1979 Don Baylor H&B signature-model (“S44”) bat; signed in black marker (grading “6”) on the barrel. Length: 35 inches. Weight: 33.8 ounces. 2) 1977-1979 Don Baylor H&B signature-model (“Mc44”) bat; signed in green marker (“8”) on the barrel. Length: 35 inches. Weight: 40 ounces. 3) 1977-1979 Joe Rudi H&B signature-model (“B267”) bat; signed in black marker (“8”) on the barrel. Rudi’s uniform number (“26”) is written on the knob in black marker, as is the notation “34 1/4". (Rudi wore number “26” with the California Angels from 1977 to 1980.) Length: 35 inches. Weight: 33.8 ounces. 4) 1991-1997 Alan Trammell Louisville Slugger signature-model (“D143”) bat; signed in blue Sharpie (“10”) on the barrel. Length: 34.5 inches. Weight: 31.6 ounces. 5) 1991-1997 Lou Whitaker Louisville Slugger signature-model (no model number listed) bat; signed in silver paint pen (“9”) on the barrel. Length: 35 inches. Weight: 34.2 ounces.
