1933 Babe Ruth News Photo - First Home Run in All-Star Game History!

Extremely historic original news photo capturing Babe Ruth as he crosses the plate after hitting the first-ever All-Star Game home run on July 6, 1933, at Comiskey Park in Chicago. Ruth is pictured being greeted at home plate by teammate Lou Gehrig and the White Sox batboy. An Acme Newspictures, Inc., credit stamp appears on the reverse, as does the original paper news caption, dated "7-6-33." The photo (9 x 7 inches) displays a few light surface wrinkles and is in Excellent condition overall. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,185
