1920 Oh! You "Babe" Ruth Sheet Music

1920 Oh! You “Babe” Ruth sheet music, published just after Ruth's historic trade to the New York Yankees from Boston. The cover design features a full-length image of Ruth as a member of the Yankees, surrounded by an illustration of boisterous fans shouting from the grandstands. The back cover displays an advertisement for Ruth’s 1920 theatrical release, Headin' Home. Words by William Hart and music by Ed Nelson. Published by Hart Music Company, New York. This is a scarce Ruth sheet music and the first to feature him as a member of the Yankees. The sheet music (8.75 x 11.5 inches) displays minor creases, a number of small edge tears, and a few tiny areas of red discoloration on the reverse. In Very Good condition. Matted and framed with double-sided glass (so that the back cover can be seen) to total dimensions of 15.5 x 17.75 inches. Reserve $200. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $593
