1915 Federal League Enameled Season Pass
Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $1,067
Federal League season pass issued for the year 1915. The scallop-edged sterling-silver pass features an enameled design on the front consisting of a white baseball surrounded by a blue border that is lettered "Federal League - J.A. Gilmore, Pres." The reverse reads "Circuit Pass - 1915" in raised letters, along with the pass number ("122") and the original owner's name, both of which are engraved. Unfortunately, a small remnant of paper adhered to the reverse obscures the recipient's name. All material relating to the short-lived Federal League (1914-1915) is rare, with this pass no exception. We have only seen a small number of these passes, all of which date from 1915. The offered pass (1.5 inches in diameter) displays light wear, including tarnishing to the silver. The key-chain clip at the top of the pass is no longer present. In Very Good condition overall. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $1,067
