Two Rare 1914-1915 Federal League Sheet Musics

Two sheet musics, each relating to the short-lived Federal League (1914-1915): 1) 1914 Chicago Feds sheet music, titled The Fed's Are Here To Stay. As noted on the cover, this song was "Dedicated to Chas. Weeghman, President/Chicago Federal League Ball Park." The attractive cover design features an illustration of Chicago's Federal League Park, which today is known as Wrigley Field. This is the first example of this particular sheet music we have ever offered and we cannot recall the last time we saw one at auction. Words and music composed by Augusta Gebhardt. Published by Augusta Gebhardt, Chicago, Illinois. 10.25 x 13.25 inches. In Very Good condition, with a few minor creases and edge tears. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 17 x 20 inches. 2) 1915 Buffalo Feds sheet music, titled Come Out Where the Buffalo Feds Play. Words composed by W. A. Steiner and J. Schick. Music composed by Jas. K. Porter and C. F. Henry. Published by Jas. K. Porter, New York. 10 x 13 inches. In Excellent condition. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 17.5 x 20.5 inches.
