Hall of Fame Autographed Card Collection - Baseball, Football, and Hockey (42) - All PSA/DNA Certified

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,304

Collection of forty-two autographed trade cards, encompassing the sports of baseball, football, and hockey, each encapsulated by PSA/DNA, with the signature certified as "Authentic." What makes this collection unique is that all but one of the players represented here is a member of the Hall of Fame for his respective sport (Frank Viola is the lone exception). The forty-two cards, all of which have been signed on the front (in a variety of inks), span the years 1952 to 1994, with the highest representation by decade (18) dating from the 1980s. Cards range from Gd-Vg to Nr-Mt, averaging Ex-Mt. Unless otherwise noted all of the signatures grade "9" or "10." Since all of the cards can be viewed on our website, our listing here provides just the names of the signers. If there is more than one signed card for a particular player, the total number will be noted in parentheses after his name (even in the case of duplicate autographs, no specific cards are represented more than once). Baseball (31 total): Banks (2), Boggs (grading "6"), Brett, Carter, Dickey, Drysdale (grading "7"), Durocher, Hubbell, Hunter, R. Jackson (grading "5/6"), T. Jackson, Kell, Larkin, Lasorda, Lopez, Lyons (grading "8"), Mantle, Muray, Puckett, Ripken Jr., F. Robinson, Ryan (grading "5/6"), Santo (2), Schoendienst (grading "7"), Snider, Spahn, Sutter, Sutton, and Frank Viola. Football (2 total): Bobby Bell and Butkus. Hockey (9 total): Clarke (3; one grading "5" and another grading "8"), Dionne (grading "5"), T. Esposito, Gretzky, G. Hall, Lafleur, and Park. Total: 42 cards (31 baseball, 2 football, and 9 hockey). LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $300. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,304
