Collection of thirty-five different cards, similar in design to the classic "E145" Cracker Jack series, issued by the Helmar Brewing Company. The reverse of each card is also similar to those of the "E-145" series and features a short biography of the respective player. The Helmar "E145" set is complete at 104 cards, with only twenty cards issued for each player. The collection is comprised of the following cards: 17 Sam Crawford, 27 Jimmy Archer, 31 Jimmy Walsh, 34 Bill Carrigan, 35 Honus Wagner, 36 Rube Waddell, 37 Amos Strunk, 38 Herb Pennock, 39 Danny Moeller, 40 Otto Miller, 41 Walter Johnson, 42 Bill Claxton, 43 Ed Cicotte, 44 Ray Chapman, 46 Max Carey, 47 Slim Caldwell, 48 Joe Bush (two examples), 49 Mordecai Brown, 50 Rube Bressler, 51 Bill Bradley, 52 Billy Bergen, 53 Charles Baum, 54 Frank Baker, 55 Babe Adams, 56 Art Nehf, 61 Fred Clarke, 62 Tommy Clarke, 63 Nick Altrock, 64 George Burns, 65 Ken Williams, 66 George Davis, 67 William Dillhoefer, 82 Ed Konetchy, and 89 John Titus. As a point of reference, the average price total realized in sirraffles' past weekly eBay auctions for the thirty-five cards in this collection is in excess of $900. Like all of the Helmar issues, these cards were intentionally produced with a distressed look, with most having rounded corners and rubbed edges. Near Mint condition overall. Total: 35 cards. SOLD FOR $720
