Jim Burke was one of five contributing artists to the book. Along with his painting of Josh Gibson, Burke is also credited with the illustrations of Nelson Mandela and the three civil rights workers who were killed in Mississippi in 1964, with the latter illustration also used for the jacket cover. The painting (24 x 30 inches) is in Mint condition and has been framed to total dimensions of 25 x 31 inches.
