1926-1946 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Program Run (9 Programs) - Including Ruth's 3-Home Run Game in 1928

Complete run of nine St. Louis Cardinals World Series programs spanning the years 1926 to 1946. The collection is comprised of the following: 1) 1926 (vs. Yankees). Not scored. Fr-Gd, including a center fold, light staining throughout along the top, edge tears, and the year ("1926") written in blue ink on the cover. 2) 1928 (vs. Yankees). Scored in pencil to record a 7-3 Yankee victory in Game 4. This was the game in which Babe Ruth hit a World Series record three home runs (since tied) to help power the Yankees to their second consecutive World Championship. All of Ruth's home runs, as well as one by Lou Gehrig, are duly noted in the scoring section. A brief handwritten recap of the game by the original owner also appears on the scoring sheets. Fr-Gd, including a center fold, light, scattered staining throughout, and edge tears. 3) 1930 (vs. A's). Scored in pencil to record a 5-0 Cardinals victory in Game 4. Vg-Ex, including a few light creases. 4) 1931 (vs. A's). Scored in pencil to record an 8-1 A's victory in Game 6. Vg, including a tape repair to a small tear on the back cover. 5) 1934 (vs. Detroit). Scored in pencil to record a 10-4 Detroit victory in Game 4. Vg, including a center fold and pencil notations on the cover. 6) 1942 (vs. Yankees). Not scored. Vg, including a center fold and creases. 7) 1943 (vs. Yankees). Scored in pencil to record a 2-0 Yankees victory in Game 5. Gd-Vg, including a center fold and an edge stain that affects both covers and each page. 8) 1944 (vs. Browns). Not Scored. Ex-Mt. 9) 1946 (vs. Red Sox). Not scored.
