Like many of the best original Paul Thompson baseball photos in the hobby today, this example originates from the archives of Baseball Magazine and first entered the market in 1996, when the magazine's collection of photos was sold at auction by Christie's in New York. As such, it bears a special "Baseball Magazine Archives" hologram label on the reverse. The photo (5 x 7 inches) displays a number of light surface scratches (most are only visible when viewed at certain angles) and is otherwise in Excellent condition overall.
