1961 New York Yankees Team-Signed Reunion Ball - PSA/DNA NM-MT+ 8.5
Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,440
Official American League (Brown) ball signed in blue ink by thirty-two members of the 1961 World Champion New York Yankees. Graded NM-MT+ 8.5 by PSA/DNA (autographs grade 9, ball grade 8). This ball was signed at a reunion show during the late 1980s, which is the reason why Maris' signature does not appear on the ball (he died in 1985). The thirty-two signatures appearing on the ball are those of Mantle (sweet spot), Berra (sweet spot), Sheldon, Skowron, Torgeson, Blanchard, Turley, Hale, Boyer, Tresh, Richardson (above ball label), Downing, Daley, Gardner, Gonder, Clevenger, Houk (Mgr.), DeMaestri, Reed, Sain, James, Johnson, Coates, Arroyo, Ditmar, Stafford, Cerv, Terry, Reniff, McDevitt, Duren, and Lopez. This is an outstanding ultra high-grade 1961 Yankees team ball and one that cannot be duplicated today, since a number of the players are now deceased. The ball is accompanied by its original PSA/DNA ball holder (seal broken) and full PSA/DNA LOA. Additional LOA from James Spence/JSA. SOLD FOR $1,440
