1960s Multisigned Hall of Fame Ball with Sisler, Frisch, L. Waner, and Many Others
Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $960
Official National League (Giles) ball signed in both blue and black ink by the following twenty-one Hall of Fame players: Sisler (sweet spot), Medwick (sweet spot), Manush (sweet spot), Frisch (twice), Roush, Coveleski, L. Waner, Dickey, Grove, Appling, Stengel, Rice, Gehringer, Feller, Schalk, Hoyt, Slaughter, Hubbell, Ruffing, Traynor, and Lyons. The ball has also been signed by former Cardinals outfielder Terry Moore and one other (faded beyond legibility). Signatures range from "5" to "9," averaging "7/8," with the exception of Traynor and Lyons (both badly faded, grading "1"). This ball dates to the 1958 to 1969 manufacturing period and was most likely obtained at a Hall of Fame induction ceremony or Old Timers' Day game. The ball remains in Near Mint condition. This is a highly desirable Hall of Fame ball, especially given the fact that all of the signers are long since deceased. LOA from James Spence/JSA. SOLD FOR $960
