Napoleon Lajoie Cut Signature PSA/DNA MINT 9

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $1,440

Outstanding cut signature example of Hall of Fame second baseman Napoleon Lajoie. Lajoie has beautifully scripted his name in black fountain pen on a small, unlined sheet (3 x 1.5 inches), with the date "4-20-30" appearing directly below. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, with the signature graded MINT 9. A five-time batting champion and one of only eight modern-day players to bat over .400, Lajoie retired in 1916 with a .338 lifetime average. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1939 and passed away in 1959. Near Mint condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. SOLD FOR $1,440
