1967 Topps Near-Complete Master Set (609 Cards Plus 13 Variations)

Presented is a near-complete master set of 1967 Topps comprised of 609 cards in a basic set plus thirteen of the sixteen recognized variations needed for a master set. Missing only variations for #45 Maris (offered individually in this auction), 128, and 149 for completion. A second variation of #427 (rule missing) is also included. The 1967 Topps set has always been extremely popular, featuring scores of stars and Hall of Famers from what is now fondly remembered by many baby boomers as the Golden Age of baseball cards. This set includes legends such as Mantle, Mays, Aaron, and Clemente, from an era before big money ruled the game, and when the summer All-Star contests were comprised almost exclusively of first-rate Hall of Famers.
